He was the the thirty fifth president of the United States of America. He was also the youngest elected president. He was teh first Catholic president elected. He never finished his first term. Kennedy served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was awarded a purple heart. On November 22, 1963 Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. He had three children; two boys and one girl. He was born May 24th, 1917. John "Jack" Fitzgerald Kennedy was born to Joseph Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. Jack had seven siblings: Rosemary, Kathleen, Eunice, Patricia, Robert, Jean, and Edward. John F. Kennedy was a leutenant during World War II. On September 12, 1953, John F. Kennedy  married Jacqueline Bouvier. They had two children: Caroline and John Jr. Their youngest son died two days after birth. In 1960 he was elected president. John F. Kennedy was inagurated president on January 20, 1961.
